Tessa G. Lessord, M.S.

Tessa obtained her M. S. in Entomology from Cornell University in 2016, where she specialized in applied biological control in tree fruit. Previously, she acquired a B.S. in Entomology from Cornell University and an A.A.S. in Agriculture Technology from SUNY Alfred, while holding many research summer internships. Since joining A.C.D.S. Research in the summer of 2016, Tessa has assisted in the planning and execution of efficacy trials, with skills in Agriculture Research Manager (ARM). She is now a Principal Field Investigator for agronomic, vegetable and specialty crop efficacy trials.

Grant received his Ph.D. in Agronomy (Weed Science) from the University of Wisconsin. Prior to joining ACDS, Inc., Grant was on the faculty at the Ohio State University for six years as Extension Weed Scientist for Agronomic Crops. He joined ACDS, Inc. as Quality Assurance Manager in 1986, and helped bring the company into GLP compliance. In 1988, he became a principal field investigator and began conducting efficacy and residue trials in agronomic and vegetable crops. Grant and his partner Harry Humphreys purchased the research division of ACDS, Inc. in 1993, forming the new company of A.C.D.S. Research, Inc. Grant became President of the company in 1998, and continues his responsibility of the coordination, oversight and conduct of all types of agronomic, vegetable and specialty crop studies.

Stephen G. Pietruszka, B.S.

Stephen graduated from Cornell University in 2010 with his B.S. degree in Agricultural Sciences, with a focus on crop and plant production. He then worked at Messina Hof Winery for two years as a vineyard production assistant, and later with Syngenta Crop Protection mainting turf and ornamental trials. Stephen joined A.C.D.S. Research in the fall of 2012 as a Research Associate for both residue and efficacy trial work. His specialties include wine processing, variety trial work, turf trial work, and weather and moisture station management.
Harry J. Humhreys, B.S.Ed.

Harry earned an A.A.S. degree in Ag Science & Technology from SUNY Morrisville in 1970, and a B.S.Ed. degree in education from SUNY Oswego in 1972 with a dual major in biology and industrial technology. Harry first taught Ag. Science at B.O.C.E.S. before leaving to take over ownership and management of his family's fourth generation vineyards and fruit farm, which remains under his oversight. Harry joined A.C.D.S. Research in 1988 to develop and implement a Quality Assurance & Safety program and was QA Manager for 11 years, while gaining experience in conducting residue and efficacy trial work. In 1998, Harry became Director of Research and a PFI, and is responsible for the coordination, oversight and conduct of all types of vineyard, orchard and small fruit studies.
